This is my boat...alittle bit about us. We were gonna wait till retirement to get our boat but life is too short to wait so we sold the jetskis and took the plunge.
Husband and I gifted each other the boat for our 35th anniversary instead of having a huge party. I wanted something in the Malibu family lol we met at the Malibu Motel down the shore in Wildwood NJ 1988. Now we re just making memories on our boat, we are obsessed! Its been a game changer for us.
So please send me your ideas!!! :winkingthumbsup"

35! Congrats. Nearing 32 for us. 35th Anniversary gift is coral. Thinking along the line of Buffet...Coral Reefer or the color, Coral Blue even though I think it is yacht blue or Coral Gifts, that is what it is.

Good choice...parties last a few hours, boating fun lasts for year!
We've been boating for years, but decided to buy a brand new boat to treat ourselves while we're still young enough to enjoy it.

How about something simple like MALIBLUE since you seem to like blue and Malibu themes.
:)
PS - based on your avatar picture, you look great for 50+!!
LOL

Only one mature choice. Knot-ey

Man there is some funny names out there, that MALIBLUE suggestion was good. Mabey go one more vowel, to MALIBLUES?? We use to see a guy at the marina when we were kids with a boat name of "Dock Banger" I thought that was pretty funny. I have still yet to name my boat, I have thrown around the name of " Sea Hooker" but my wife is not quite on board with that one.

You are on a great path and I applaud your courage to move forward with your lives instead of waiting.
So you want to name your boat…
Here is a website that have some fun and useful information. https://portsanibelmarina.com/boat/boat-naming-etiquette-what-you-need-to-know/

I would suggest you resist the urge to choose a name the is cute or clever and look at names that have meaning for you and your Husband. Such as name of a cherished pet.
Good luck with your effort and welcome aboard!
