Hi! I’m purchasing a used 2017 212X from Alabama. The model is XBT1800A-SAG is this one compliant with California emissions? I just realized that year they have 4 model numbers but can’t find anything that says which ones are CA compliant. Thank you so much for the help!!!

There is a sticker on the side and the engines that says California 4 star compliant.

If there is no CA in the model number reflected in the screenshot below it’s not CA complaint. Another way to check is compare the engine parts diagrams of the ca and non ca models (the ca models have catalytic converters). Why does it matter? If it is not ca complain t you can’t buy it new in CA but you can bring in a used non ca complaint boat into ca.

Found this in my 2018 owners manual.

Thank you all so much! I had to pass on the boat it was a beauty but can't register it here since it's only 3 star emission rating!

Pretty sure they didn’t make 212x in 2017, as that was a new mode year. I may be wrong though.
