Perfect timing on this.

I just saw two Hobie kayaks going thru a canal on the local chain of lakes earlier today. I was wondering how they function. The pair I saw had a shade Bimini installed as well.
 
When I saw the price, I really didn't want to like it, but daggone it, that's cool. @Julian thanks for the video, I was very much like you in wanting to know how it works. Alas, I don't see one in my near future...
 
I have spent the morning looking at fishing kayaks on-line. Originally thought I wanted the pedal propulsion, but am now leaning away from it. The pedalboard, though, is kinda cool.
