Our jet boating brothers and sisters in the North West and Alaska use those all the time. That is all they do.
I see a lot of outboard jets on my river here, too, mostly small jon boats.

That could be another whole animal and open the door for a lot of possibilities...... Interesting to see where it goes..I know the jet powered outboards have been around for a while, but wake surfing is the #1 growing water sport..looking forward to see if it goes anywhere..

Not saying it’s not possible, but a few things working against a good surf wave and a jet powered outboard. I’m sure somebody will try it, but motor position in wake, hp to ballasted out boat ratio, depth of jet, nozzle wash...this experiment would require a lot of beer to figure out.

Imagine someone wake surfing behind a jet outboard and then the driver decides to trim up! Blast right to the face among other sensitive areas....OUCH! Having flashbacks to the Yamaha body orifice vs jet warning sticker
