2016 240SX, Some thief cut out my house battery. I would like any info on connecting the replacement battery correctly. Boat has the 3 switchs start, house, and emergency with the DVSR. So... I've got the house and start batt connected parallel negative to negative. Then I have 2 probably 6 gage black leads coming from the engine area that I think go to the negative house. There is an 8-10 gage wire black from the main harness in the engine bay, it has a separate cover with a blue stripe, I think it also goes to the negative house?? Then the DVSR to the negative house. Red positive from house battery switch to positive house battery. Does this sound right? Any help is appreciated.
Yes that helps some, appreciate the pics. My only big concern is the smaller wire I have pictured, I feel like it should go to the negative, although the protective sleeve with the blue stripe has me confused, on my boat it seems the sleeves with that stripe are going to a positive connection. Again appreciate the pics, always helps to compare.
That last photo is the best one that I have seen. I'm reinstalling my batteries for the first time soon, so this will help. I think that I did a pretty good job of marking the wires when I disconnected, but I might have used painter's tape to bundle them and not sure if the cold weather held them together . We'll see.....
