I'm thinking about buying a Yamaha 222 FSH. One of my favorite fishing spots in the winter is a creek that feeds into a river. To get to the creek you have to go through a very wide, but very shallow bay. In the winter, after they drop the water, this bay is normally 2' to 3' deep. The bottom is super soft mud. Once you go up into the creek, for a bit you go over really small rocks and pieces of rocks that have gotten caught before flowing out into the bay. This area is also the same depth. Will this destroy the wear ring and impeller? I really want the 222 FSH, but would hate to loose fishing at my honey hole.
