IT IS FREE!
Membership allows you to ask questions (no matter how mundane), meet up with other jet boaters, see full images (not just thumbnails), browse the member map and qualifies you for members only discounts offered by vendors who run specials for our members only! (It also gets rid of this banner!)
Guest, we are pleased to announce that Hydrophase Ridesteady is offering an extra $100 off for JETBOATERS.NET members on any Ridesteady for Yamaha Speed Control system purchased through March 7th, 2025. Ridesteady is a speed control system (“cruise control”) that uses GPS satellites or engine RPM to keep your boat at the set speed you choose. On twin engine boats, it will also automatically synchronize your engines.
[USERGROUP=3]@Administrative[/USERGROUP] team - the user map only has 1223 users listed. Maybe you can do one of those hot remarks thingies (highly technical term, I know) to get the new members to input locations.
And if you want a better plot of your location add your zipcode.
I'm travelling on business today and picking my boat up tomorrow. ...so it should be a couple of months before I get to this!!! Lol. But yes, we can put up a notice for this. I've suggested making it mandatory (if you don't want to disclose your location just put in a fake one)

Regarding making it mandatory, my thought was to do what many forums do and say, if you don't want to disclose your location enter "North Pole". But not a big deal...
p.s. We also may need to order some more JB.Net footballs to continue to get the word out. . . . . . I saw at least 3 new Yammies on my lake already this season.

Hmmm, that could be a new destination to replace the Bimini trip. May have to use the sub move to reach it though. With regard to map location...Many people are hesitant to put too much info out there. It may be a good idea to mention this only gives general location rather than specific and is used for members to find local members for the purpose of socializing and possible repair assistance.
I was unsure about adding my location until I started participating on this board and realized how great of a community this is. Now I not only have my location posted, but have invited "internet strangers" to my house like @bobbie.
