I am trying to prepare for replacing my car battery, but the Battery Monitoring System has to be reset immediately after installing new battery. Does anyone know how to do that? Thanks in advance.

Not sure on that one but you want to make sure you let the throttle body re-learn its idle setting.

We use Forscan to change a lot of the settings and perform service procedures on our 14 Edge and 15 SuperDuty. I do believe that the software supports BMS service procedure. It's free to try, but you do need a good quality wired obd2 cable.

I wonder if shorting the battery cables also provides the battery reset? Thanks for feedback.

Thanks for the advice. I'm on it.
