I promised a few of you I would post my process to get my AR240 in the garage that it barely fits in. Some may have seen this before but I added a few pictures.

First, I have to pull everything out of the garage that is on wheels. Next, I remove the top half of the tower which is sometimes a pain! My wife doesn't like this part because she has to help since its a two person job. Then I use a 1026R John Deere tractor and the 3 point hitch to lower the tongue almost to the ground but just high enough that the spare tire doesn't drag the ground. What this does is it buys me enough space between the header of my garage and the windshield. Once the boat clears the header I can start to raise the tongue back up. I actually have marking on the floor so I know where the trailer should line up to allow the boat to raise back to regular height and between the beams in the garage. I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story!

And thats how its done. Once we got the slampak tower speakers installed this winter I had to add hooks to hang the top half of the tower.

when you look at it, it just seems like it wouldn't fit, until you see it in there.. nice setup.. :)

Like the tower rack!!

Amazing!

And I'm gussin that's the wife's car that got the other bay?

Gym

Tight fit eh Cden? Thanks for the pics and good job!

Gym, you got that right! Thats the wife's Taurus SHO. The only way I can get my Superduty in is if I literally hit the wall in the front with my bumper!

Mel, once the boat is in when I raise it up the lower part of the tower you can barely get a piece of paper between it and the beem. I count myself lucky I can get it in for the winter! The summers we leave it out since we use it constantly and taking that tower off is no fun. I am actually getting a bid for a building right now. It would be really nice to just put it in the building and not have to take it a part!
