I did swim platform in a half hour. It was washed I just wiped it down with acetone, cut the backing and put it down. No problem. Once the boat is clean just wipe the area you are going to do and put it down you can do a piece then a hour later do another, start and stop anytime.
It goes pretty fast, surface prep is key though.
Slicing the backing (waxy paper?) in half (without slicing the SeaDek, lol) helps with good alignment.
Temps are important, can not be too cold, which I suppose is not an issue for you in TX!
Also, depending on what you decide to do about holes left from snap removal it could take another 24hrs or so to cure.
Ok it took 2.5 hours excluding the swim platform as that was factory installed. That included washing and acetone full floor of boat. Easier job I've ever done.?
It took me 2.0 hrs. I researched using Acetone or Rubbing alcohol to prep. I used rubbing alcohol based on other suggestions and the fact that Acetone is hazardous to breathe.
Well mine is going to take several months to install now. Kit came in last week but the temps are cooling off a bit too soon , so I'll more than likely wait till spring.

Take it out of the box and unfold it.. I left mine in the box over the winter on one of my last boats and the folded crease never did completely go away..
