How long does it take a dealer to prep a boat for delivery usually?

Hi

Just a newbie question - how long does it typically take a dealer to get a boat ready for the buyer? They have it on the lot… you toss down the deposit… are boat dealers all so swamped that they take weeks to prep a boat?

I guess the car buying experience is not the same metric… you can literally leave the same day… what about boat prep causes it to be slower ?
