Lesson learned: don't weld near the boat. I was welding in my garage and I guess little pieces of wire flew on the rear of the boat and made little dots of rust. I'm trying to remove it without getting to harsh. Any ideas?

If the stains are just residue left by the little pieces of wire and not wire imbedded in the boat, I would use either Bar Keepers Friend (soft scrub cleaner) or polishing compound to remove the stains.

I can scrape the little pieces away with my finger nail leaving behind orange dots. I'll try those two options. I have both. I tried a magic eraser and tilex and chrome polish(works great on any scratches on anything white)
