Howdy gang!!

Figured id jump in here and say hi and thanks for the plethora of info i have been reading. We pick up our first boat next Friday. 2019 Yamaha AR195. Already ordered the Cobra Super Ultimate AK-19 Steering system, Lucky 13 cone and a Stotlz Roller for it after massively over informing myself on here, LOL. Started with the 195 after researching a bunch. The wife was having heart palpitations from the 212 Limited S price tag. Figured we can always sell this one after a couple seasons use if we feel it doesn't fit our needs. Love the good resale on these boats. We will be mainly in Tellico and Norris lakes but will pull it to Nashville and play in Percy Priest some too.

Still Looking for a way to put a bigger information screen on it and tie into existing data. That 4.3" screen just doesn't seem big enough to me. But anywhooo. Howdy gang.

@Matts18 , we rented a ski boat yesterday for fathers day from the Beach Island Marina and checked out Norris. Man that boat was a POS but it serviced its purpose. It seemed like a great lake and vastly huge!! What don't you like about it? Any input is greatly appreciated. We love Tellico. Been out on it a couple times with friends in their $$$ Malibu, lol.

Norris lake is great, but I wouldn't launch at Norris Dam. Parking is awful.

There is a ramp at a place called Loyston Point that I would recommend. It is a narrow road getting to the ramp but is a great part of the lake. Keep in mind Norris does not have channel markers and there are some hidden obstacles when the water starts to drop late in the summer.

We like taking the boat to decent restaurants and Tellico/Loudon has a lot more to offer in that regard.

Welcome! We boat on Norris right up from Beach Island at Cedar Grove. Love that part of the lake! We stay as far away from the Ohio folk as we can... ?

Welcome We put in at Waterside Marina... there are about 5-6 yamaha's slipped at the Marina. Not sure if they are members or not. Hope to see you on the water. Loyston point is just across the way from Waterside... a couple of rope swings and jumps in that area as well.

Well since its stormin like no tomorrow, i put the cover on it and hauled it to my shop to install lucky 13 cone and Cobra Steering system. This weather needs to lighten the hell up so we can get on the water!!
