I noticed a crack on my boat and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this type of issue being covered under warranty. My boat is less than a year old, but I’m afraid they may blame this on me vs. a defect.
Looks similar, yet smaller, than my gelcoat pops. Yamaha fixed it under warranty without issue. Choose your dealer wisely as mine did subpar gelcoat work. Fortunately it's white, and not in an easily seen area. I've also done paint correction work for 20 years so I'm more particular about that kind of work than others. It's passable for warranty work.
