Has anyone used hydro-turf bunk sliders with our boats? I have used them with skis before and not had an issue. But due to the weight of the boat in comparison to the ski I was looking to see if anyone had issues with the sliders causing any damage to the hull. Thoughts anyone?

I havent but I spray a light coat of silicone spray on my carpet and it literally helps the boat slide off much easier for the entire season. Cheap and effective solution.

I use silicone as well and love how it helps. My bunk carpets are getting scared up and was looking at the sliders that were on sale and a lot less work to apply over new bunk carpet.

I use snaptrax...looks like exactly the same thing as the hydroturf bunk sliders...which is a misnomer because I was expecting hydroturf! It works well and no problems here. I use the ramp n clamp Ramp-N-Clamp Automatic Boat to Trailer Latch, Auto latch and just drive up, self center, and throttle up until ramp n clamp automatically catches bow eye. We are out of water in 15 seconds. However, it does reduce friction, if you power load you will need to keep throttle engaged to hook up to winch or you will slide back down. If you winch load it would be great.

I used hydro turf on my 05 SX230 trailer and it worked great. Also used it on the lift bunks for boat and jet skis.
