I have some hydro turf on the floor of my boat that needs to be reglued. Does someone know what kind of glue or cement should be used? I want to be sure that I use something that comes off if I ever choose to change out the type of turf.

Thank you

On my old seadoo I used 3m 5200 to hold down the corners of some hydro turf. Seemed to hold well. I'm sure it could be scrapped off but there might be better options.

I don't know for sure but when I passed on the preinstalled glue hydro turf sent me what I thought was rubber cement instead. I suggest you call them directly. They are based in scAl and close at 2p PST on the weekdays.

Dap weldwood. You can get it at Home Depot. Not sure how hard/easy to get it off though.

Definitely Dap Weldwood contact cement. Coat the back of the turf. Coat the area being turfed. Let both dry to a tacky feel. Then lay the turf. They bond instantly. It will hold great and can be removed with goof off.

I've turfed a lot of stand up jet skis. The turf gets more wet and takes much more abuse. It's what's recommended by hydro-turf and works great.

x3 on the weldwood.

Thank you all. I will go with Weldwood and I read that this is the same glue that Hydro Turf sends with the mats (i.e. rebranded)
