I have a 2015 242 Limited. Does anyone else have an issue with the head door rattling? I'm afraid over time without some type of rubber bumper it will start to rub into the gel coat. I've tried several types of stick on adhesive bumpers but they come right off when they get hot.
Anyone have an idea?
Love the boat, just trying to get it fine tuned...

Mine does the same. The fix is simple, turn up the tunes! :winkingthumbsup" It does annoy me, but I am not sure of a fix. Because of the constant shaking, I find that my hinge screws like to work themselves out, even with Loktight. Keep an eye on them because when they fall out onto the floor and your wife steps on them with her bare feet, she is going to be PIST. Ask me how I know...

You may want to try some gel type superglue on those screws when you install them .

The previous owner of mine fixed this by sticking a piece of rope in the top of the door... I can't stand that, so I've ordered some of this from McMaster Carr. I haven't gotten it installed yet, but other users have installed similar trim without the bulb seal and it looks great.

Maybe a few drops of clear silicone in the spots that it would rub the gel coat?

Good idea, I think I'll try that idea first before we head to Lake Havasu.
