Hey everyone I currently bought a LOWE 1448MT with a new Yamaha 40/30 jet. Looking at any ideas on how anyone reinforced the transom as the boats rated for only a 25. Boat is a 20” transom As well if anyone has this set up a picture of your boat with motor mounted on transom just wanting to see how it all looks thanks

I got nuthin. But sounds like a cool project.

For reinforcing the transom, you could duplicate the bracket that is there and put several of them across the transom...

Yeah deffinetly will reinforce to the seat and cap the transom with 1/4 aluminium I wanted to see if anyone had any pictures or knows anyone with the set up the motor says it fits a 20” riser and sales guy was mentioning I needed a riser which I find hard to believe as it says fits a 20”transom and that’s what my transom is
