Loved my scarab. Never had an issue just wanted something bigger. Sold it yesterday and picking up a 2016 maple red 242 limited s e series. Almost shed a tear when the 215 left the building.

Let me know how you like the 242. I'm planning the same move once I get the boat back from marineMax.

Congratulations on the new boat!!:winkingthumbsup"

Welcome to Yamaha World, great boats!!

Thanks. Picking it up next Friday.

Congrats- Yamaha, Scarab, Chaparral all have their pluses and minus when compared to each other. I considered all 3 and some props as well. As an example the Scarab has the best helm display hands down if equipped, chap the second, but you cant beat the human interface of the joystick on the Yami IMO. It will drive like a much bigger boat but the space, layout, and relatively quite power plant were deciding factors for me. Enjoy it!

Congratulations! You will love it.
