Looking at a 2016 242 and I’m seeing this. How bad is this? Can I file this down or do I need to replace?

I'm sure most will say they have seen worse.
It may impact or not hard to say. I'm sure somewhere you can find clearance tolerances. But filing edge is not uncommon

I replaced mine due to high spot hitting liner but had no cavitation.

I had similar damage to one of my impellers. I cleaned it up and haven't had any issues. I did replace the wear rings. I tried to push the metal back same as you would when dressing a kitchen knife. Then I used a good file. The outer edge integrity was still good. Don't let a couple of dings bother you.
