Wanted to start a thread for all the Ohio and surrounding area boaters that may frequent Indian Lake. I plan on being up there almost every weekend and would love to put some names to the faces on the forum.

Collectively we just be able to make the weekends a little more fun on our little lake.

You know I'm in! We got a dock at Logan Landing by the way. Still looking at RVs possibly. Went up last week and had some brews at Froggy's. Can't wait for warmer weather...

We always go to Alum Creek. It's so close that it's hard to venture out. Does Indian Lake get very crowded?

@Chris5105 It will get crowded on the holiday weekends and then July/August weekends. The nice thing about Indian Lake though is that it is sectioned off very nicely. You could stay in one area of the lake for hours and not even venture out to the ski area or the busy parts. Couple that with the bars on the water for food and drinks, you really can't beat it for middle Ohio. Let me know if you ever decide to make the trip, I can try to point ya in the right direction!

I see that you live in Westerville, my buddy from high school owns a little italian restaurant on main street called Cardone's. You should check that out too, very good food.

Will definitely try Cardone's. I drive by it all the time. My wife has a few friends that have also said great things about it

You know... I may try to venture up there this year. I keep saying I want to give it a shot.

@TonkaTuff ...definitely worth the trip. Try to go up for a weekend to experience the whole lake.

Went up last weekend and ate at Indian Head Roadhouse. If anyone is going up, you need to try the Margaritas and Bloody Mary's. Best on the lake and the food isn't bad either.

Lots of great places to hang out and chill and the people are just as great!

About a 2 hr. Drive. Not too bad. May try it out this year.

@McTafur we rented a place at the lake on the 5,6,7,8 of June if you're feeling squirley stop up for an afternoon. @cbus will you be up there that weekend? Did you ever purchase that camper?

I have seen lots of yami's up there the past few weekends but have yet to meet any that are members here.

Open invite for anyone that weekend. We will be out and about!

We planned on being up there every weekend but the kids activities in June are so scattered that we're not sure what June holds but after that, every weekend will be spent there.

We did buy the RV and because of the bad weather our spot won't be ready until July 4th. Looking forward to that!

I will give you a heads up if we are heading up that weekend...I owe you a few!

@cbus sounds good! We will be up there Saturday and Sunday this weekend also. You will prolly cruise right past us leaving your dock. We will be spending some time at Mike's house right on your channel.

I saw a lot of yamaha's in the docks and on the water this weekend. All types and sizes.

Any members here own any of them??

Whoever owns that 2014 blue 212x, that is a nice looking boat. I love my 242 but that boat already has me thinking about the next one!

Alum guy here, most weekends anyway...

So this lake has bars & restaurants you can dock at?

Sure does. Up here right now. Headed to indian head road house on the boat for what I have been told... One of the best bloody Mary's around. There is also cranberries, atchesons, tiltin hilton, the moose, and froggys. Each one brings a little different kind of atmosphere, depending on your mood.

Very cool. I'm heading to Marietta (Ohio river) tomorrow but I will have to try that lake. Thanks

@Kevin M yep... Pretty amazing! Worth the trip. image.jpg

That looks very tasty! Indian Roadhouse had the best on the lake. If you're still there, their Margaritas are also pretty spectacular.
