Wasn't a bad job. The cockpit area was naked so just removing carpet snaps, sealing the holes, washing with soap and water then acetone was the only prep required. The swim platform had the original padding. All but the upper platform came up with little to no glue residue. To clean off the glue I used GooGone and the abrasive side of a kitchen sponge. That plus a few rinses with acetone took care of the mess.
Laying down the new decking was easy and quick. I used the kneel and peel method. I would line up the piece, kneel on it, peel back 1/3 to 1/2 of the backing and press it down. That would hold the piece in place so I could then peel back the rest of the backing as I pressed the SeaDek in place. I'm happy with the results and so are my feet. No more snaps to step on.
