After years of wanting this, i finally went for it. Ordered a Monster MTK Tower for $1300. My biggest obstacle was I wanted to retain the factory bimini. Took hours of planning to get this right, but we finally found the perfect mount spot for the tower. So far we love it. Speakers are on order to complete the package.

Interesting install! At the attachment point, how did you reinforce (or did you)? Like how you kept the bimini.

I was able to cut a 3inch wide peice of 3/8" thick plywood and put it behind the attachment points. I've never been this far back in the sides of the boat, it was not fun, but we pulled it off.

This pic shows me about half way of how far i was back there on the battery side (port). The starboard side is much roomier.

That is a job! Been back there on the one side to install the second bilge pump. I agree on the not fun part--not for the claustrophobic! Just be sure to check that every season to make sure that the wood did not get wet and begin rotting.

How on earth did you tip the battery like that without it leaking all over you?

Thanks. Got lucky on the battery, didn't want to unhook it of possible.

1/8" Plywood? I hope that's a typo!
