We are trying to installing a garmin 741XS GPS on our 2014 yamaha 242 limited s. We can not seem to figure out how to do this without covering parts of the instrument panel. Would love to see how others have accomplished this.

I keep forgetting to take a picture of mine...but I purchase a ram mount (suction cup mount) for my dragonfly...tons of options and it's never permanent.

We have read that some have done that. We are just really concerned of the security with the waves and roughness of the water that it may not hold well.

Mine came off once...and that was over the winter...that's it. I will snap a picture this weekend.
