I keep my 09' 232 limited s in an outdoor storage lot because there aren't any indoor places with anything taller than an 8' door here in Saint Pete FL...and I am not ready to put her in a high and dry yet separation anxiety...has anyone used one of these?http://m.northerntool.com/products/shop~tools~product_200471118_200471118
I am thinking of seeing if my storage lot will let me put this in my space. Even if I do go high and dry I can prob sell it when done.

As a fellow Floridian I would be worried about wind damage.

They are pretty solid, lots of anchors. My buddy had one in Oklahoma and the wind there was exponentially worse than FL

My friend has one of those round dome shelters at his marina, 40' wide 100' long and it held up to the winds well. They use it to paint big yachts in etc.

I had one for my classic car while my garage was being built. Structurally sound except for the zip door gave in with the wind, but, and its a big but, be careful of condensation, in the sun it got really hot in there and any moisture just lingered. You'll defiantly need some kind of ventilation with the Floridian sun/heat.

I like the idea!!! Might just work for myself also!

After seeing the price it has tantalized my interests too, specially if it means I no longer have to put the tower down to take it out of my shop then put it back up... That is getting OLD...

If you have a place to permanently store, a carport may end up being cheaper. You can order to the height you want any lenth or width you want.

I checked into carports in Michigan and they are expensive because of snow load. The snow melts and rolls off the round top.

It's better then sitting outside for the winter.

Got a picture with the boat in it's "tent"

Nice, looks like it just fits!

Any concerns with snow building up between the two structures?
