That thing needs to be covered in fiberglass, gel coated, and add some collapsible rails. then add some retractable cleats to tie it down to the boat, and dock. You will make millions!!!

Why not just use a sheet of plywood so there's no incline/decline?
 
I think the arch provides strength so it doesn't bow under weight.
 
If this is for a person that is not 100% what happens once they get to the deck and have to get through the "pass" and over the rear seat/platform? It is a great build and I am just curious how it will be used.
 
I think you just slide over from an accessible chair over the top of the seat, and you are in, the wheelchair does not need to go on the boat. It's like a seat-to-seat transfer at the pool lift etc.
