Hi everyone, I just wanted to take some time and introduce myself. Boating and fishing aren’t just hobbies for me—they’re a way of life. I’ve spent over 30 years fishing the East Coast of Florida and the Bahamas, from inshore flats to deep offshore waters, chasing everything from snook and redfish to mahi and sailfish. I’ve learned the ins and outs of boat handling, rigging, and maintenance through real-world experience, and I know firsthand how important it is to have the right gear and reliable equipment when you’re out on the water.

But beyond my own passion for fishing, one of the most rewarding things for me has been sharing this lifestyle with my kids. Watching them learn to cast, reel in their first fish, and develop a love for the water has made every trip even more meaningful. Boating and fishing aren’t just about the catch—they’re about the memories you make, the lessons learned, and the time spent together.

I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone on here and helping out where I can!

That’s a very well written introduction!

Welcome to the site! There is a fishing forum and I’m sure folks would appreciate any rigging and tactics to help them put more fish on the boat would be appreciated! @Ericd

Edit; I checked your website and there are some good advice columns about fishing there.

Welcome Aboard FishB…
Glad to have your experience here. It’s amazing who know what and the personal experiences are invaluable.
Where are you located and do you have a jetboat?
Cheers
