So who has downloaded and what do you think? I can say this......my dumbass has been trained for years to swipe right to open up the phone and for the life of me I can't break that freakin habit! Holy crap is this nerve racking!!!!

I like that they changed the Music back to the old look with the white background.

The new text features are pretty neat as well. I was fooling around with my daughter sending laser written messages back and forth!!

After reading the horror stories online I am backing up to computer first (waiting on that now). Then will do iCloud backup for good measure before installing. Then just let it do it's thing while I sleep. Hopefully I don't wake up in the morning to a shiny brick.

Funny you mention the swipe thing. Guy at work was complaining about the lack of it too. Muscle memory is a bitch! I still can't break the habit of putting my finger up my nose every time I see a pretty girl. Damn you kindergarten!

I was annoyed also about the home button. You can change it back to the old way under accessibility.

The new press AND fingerprint is a bummer to me. Luckily you can change that back to just fingerprint to unlock ---settings/accessibility/home button/ rest finger to open

I wish you could take the Apple iOS and run it on Samsung phone. Now that would be sweet......except waking up to your house on fire.

The funny thing that people are bitching about press to unluck its still the same if you dim your screen on lock. The old way required you to press anyway to light up the screen, and then your finger/thumb would scan. So for those of us that pressed anyway to light up the screen, it's a no change situation.

For those that do not have a fingerprint scanner, or for those that never dim their screen, it's going to be different.

The other funny thing is the horror stories about IOS 10 bricking phones. I think that was over hyped as my wife comes home and was surprised that I had updated my phone and ipad already. She said she had heard on MSN news that it was bricking most devices. I asked her to repeat that and think about what she was saying. I asked her if she thought it was ironic that a Microsoft news network would be spreading these stories?

I'm sure it bricked a few as there are plenty of variables that would cause it from corrupt files and apps. But for those of us who updated all apps prior, had plenty of room for the upgrade and did it on a full charge or plugged in, it went smooth as silk on the day of release. I love the OS and my phone and iPad are running much faster. I also had more room on my phone after the install, so it must be a little less bloatware in this IOS. We are lucky that very few IOS updates have caused issues with our devices.

Got my iPhone 7 in the mail today. Works great and can tell the speed difference from my 6.

I installed 10.0.1 this morning. It is working great for me.

I am told 10 can and will delete app based info or photos to make room for 10. Don't know but concerned about it. Maybe the app is trying to get premium pay?

Not a problem with mine at all. I'm starting to really like some of the new features. Little things like different sounds for keys when typing. The space bar is an octave lower than the letters. Kinda neat. And the back space button sounds different.
