I agree, they are very versatile. Surf or wakeboard behind with ballast to even an ocean going vessel in the right conditions along with being very easy to handle and trailer.

Nice set up, and Yes they are the most versatile boat - I still want to buy a go fast boat, but we would lose a ton of versatility.

That's pretty sweet @Trevor Shipman! I showed this to my gf and daughter who love to fish so of course I'll be fashioning something like this for this summer.

Awesome @MrWizard it worked out extreamly well. The only problem is straightling the boat. I have the fins on but as soon as you let go of that steering wheel she wants to go anywhere but straight. Ha. You'll have to share your setup when you build it!

@Trevor Shipman, I have numerous projects I'm working on right now but I'm anxious to get the boat from storage to begin fabricating something like yours.
I really dig your setup and hear ya about the boat going wherever she wants...migjt try to fashion some sort of system to hook up a trolling motor... I'll have to think more on that one.
Wondering if it would fit into the ski locker - and how difficult it would be to make the electrical wiring simple...
