I just went through this with my 06 last year. Poor boat survived two tornados within a two week span. Aside from some gelcoat damage, the port windshield was the only real damage. After insurance tried to locate something, they finally resorted to totaling the whole boat. I bought it back, and made a windshield out of plexiglass. Made a rough template out of compressed cardboard, then made a buck (form). Cobbled together a large oven, heated the plexiglass up to about 300 degrees, and formed it to match the buck. I then disassembled the frame, and trimmed the plexiglass down to fit the frame, being careful to keep the frame square. I made a post about it, I'll try to find it.

Here's the thread where I gave a rundown about making the windshield. If you do go this route, be aware that you do have to be careful about what chemicals you use to clean the windshield. Some things will "cloud" the plexiglass. Also, heating up something that large is a little challenging, in that you might deal with hot/cold spots. Otherwise, I'm pretty happy. It has one spot where it kind of crinkled a little bit, but otherwise, it really isn't noticeable. It got me back out on the water for the season, so I've no complaints. Someday I'll get back to doing the gelcoat stuff, but as of now, it's watertight and I have a windshield.

Working late every evening I have available. Got the metal form done, the makeshift oven is pretty much done, I've disassembled the windshield frame, and straightened the bent part.... Had to order the 3/16 plexiglass. Couldn't find any at the local stores. They all go from 1/8 to 1/4. Still planning to do the thermoforming Saturday. Trimming to size is going to be a little nerve-racking. I want to keep it tight, and it has to be done right so the walk through window hinge is kept at the right angle. Anyway, I'll try to remember to take pics, but when I get to working on something...
