I just purchased an 2017 242 S E-Series. Been running great however I am having issues now where my display doesn't seem to have power ( No Display ) but I can still start my engines. I had the problem early today and closed the back jet cover and the system seemed to start functioning( Might be a coincidence ). Now the Display does not display at all. Anyone had this issue? What was the solution before I bring it in for service?

Most (here) myself included had loss of 'touch' with screen still working and accessible via the joystick/knob.
You may have already checked these areas;
  • Unplug the display unit from behind the console. It should be a single plug
  • Disconnect both batteries, and reconnect. As many have posted, and I learned -Connext seems to go afoul when batteries are pulled and put back in
Hope this helps.

I dont understand why disconnecting the batteries could mess up the Connext unless there was a short, or surge. I turn off my batteries after every use which kills the positive connection to the boat. I have also at one occasion removed the batteries so to reposition them further back and out of the way.

Check to make sure the House-battery switch is fully turned on, Same thing happen to me last weekend. Thought it was fully turned , it wasn’t, relieved!
