iST delay

Hi all,

It has been a while since I've last posted - but I have a strange issue that just started. I have a 215 HOI Wake with iST. The iST has always been instant response until a couple weekends ago - now I am experiencing a slight delay - like 1/2 second or so when going from Neutral to forward or reverse. I have searched and haven't seen anyone else with this issue and just wondering if anyone has any ideas on what could cause that. I've tried disconnecting the batteries, charging the batteries, and have looked at all the settings on the touchscreen.

It's not keeping me off the water but kind of annoying especially since we do lots of stopping and starting with wake surfing.

That delay is normal. I have the same delay on my IBR in my Seadoo. The delay is even more evident when coming to a stop, then taking off immediately after.

@ScarabMike Thanks for the response. I am just surprised the delay just started vs. being there all along. I will accept that it is normal but I liked it better when it was instant.
