So, I say to the wife "lets go the lake since it's going to be really nice"....80 degree nice!! We go down to the dock, take in a little sun and I get the boat out for a little ride. Come back and the wife has gone up to the house. She calls me immediately when she hears me drive up. I need to come up to the house right away because there are 100's of wasps swarming on the deck. I thought maybe she might be exaggerating just a little but she wasn't. I guess we weren't the only ones wanting to get out on a nice day. So we packed up and came back home...damn it!! I have never seen so many wasps like the ones yesterday. I tried a little spray but realized I wasn't going to get ahead of this. I'm sure I have some major nest just not sure where. I'm going to wait until it gets cold enough that these guys want feel like stinging me while I try and find there nest. Unless someone else has a better idea, I'm open to suggestions.

A few partially full bottles of your wifes favorite drink laying around may get them. The yellow jackets were bad for us until we had a bonfire night a "few" bottles got left out. Gave it an extra full day before i went to clean it up and they all had at least 4 of them in the bottle drowned. The fruity drinks are by far the favorite of them.
Threw them in the garbage as they rattled in the bottle and boy was that satisfying!

Ps
Best part is creating the bottles

I was out in the yard working yesterday and had one following me around. That lasted right up until I swatted it out of the air and stepped on it  He didn't follow me anymore!

Ohh, almost forgot. I had some things soaking in a pail with water with some LA Awesome mixed in. My daughter came home and found a bee in it dead. Not sure if that attracts them or not but something cheap to try maybe.
