Hello all,
I’m purchasing a 2011 AR240 but don’t have a great history on the boat. Are these jets normal due their age? Is it common for then to look like this after fresh water use or is it likely the boat was used in salt water ?

Thanks for your help!

My boat is in salt water and it has been its whole life..... Nearly 10 years old and the pumps look brand new. All in how who care for it.

That looks like normal wet slipping results from fresh water. Salt water would like have resulted in barnacles too.

I was about to edit and mention what @Julian just said. Definitely looks like wet slip storage.....most likely fresh water.

Doesn’t look like salt the anode would be pitted more . Are they detailed and cleaned and that’s the result of some cleaning or never cleaned ? If you take a scotch brite pad it could clean up and look close to new . Feel the impeller blade edges for dings or rolled edges .
