Buying SeaDek for your Yamaha Jet Boat is now more affordable than ever!!

As promised we have gone through our entire SeaDek product offering and have developed three new lower priced Yamaha boat kits. These new lower priced kits use the same high quality SeaDek material as with our Faux Teak kits, but since they take up less machine time they cost less to produce. We then pass those savings along to you!

Here's the lineup:

Style A: 5mm Single Color Embossed Micro Dot SeaDek Kits.
Style B: 5mm Single Color Brushed SeaDek Kits.
Style C: 6mm Two Color Brushed SeaDek Kits.
Style D: 6mm Two Color Brushed W/Border SeaDek Kits.
Style E: 6mm Two Color Faux Teak SeaDek Kits.

Sweet. I will be placing an order.

Thanks @jlcj7

These new simplified kits are going to give people a lot more options when selecting a SeaDek kit as well as help prevent them from choosing a lesser priced econo brand. SeaDek has done their homework and are truly the best quality anti-skid solution on the market today!

I'm seriously thinking of removing mine from the swim deck and replacing it with the same carpet or something similar to what's in the boat. That stuff gets so hot I can barely stand on it when we are out on a nice sunny day. I surely can't be the only one that has this problem.

Oh, I'm not bashing this product, I just don't know that I would add this if it weren't already on it to begin with.

What do you have on your @Jim Robeson? Did you buy Hydro-Teak? If so that product was not brushed and it got hotter than the SeaDek. The SeaDek comes either brushed or embossed and we've learned that brushed is actually about the same as carpet, maybe even a bit cooler depending on color.

This is what it looks like. I'm not sure who makes it, I bought it this way. I has a rubber backing and the sales guy told me that the other material is made from plastic and to just use soap and water to clean it.

That looks like flexiteak. It has more of a solid feel to it like wood or solid rubber. I have not used it but Flexiteak is a completely different product. I'd be glad to send you a scrap piece of SeaDek to let you test and see if you like the way it feels in direct sunlight.

@JetBoatPilot ... that would be fantastic!! I will PM you my address. Thank you very much.

@Murf'n'surf ... No, it's not really hard. It is very firm when you stand on it. I wasn't really sure what the backing was like until I added cupholders to back of the boat.

No problem! Thought that might help you make a decision.

@JetBoatPilot -- I have tried a number of times, on both PC and iPad, at home and at work and I get the same recurring error that is preventing me from pricing out options.

The error hits when I try to select either "Style" or "Color" in the "Product Options" section. Screencap of the error:

Can you dig into this? Thanks!

Which product are you trying this on? Which boat specifically?

SeaDek Cockpit Kit For 2007-2009 Yamaha 230/232 ...

I just got it to work.

What I was doing before: adding to shopping cart and then trying to edit color & style -- this is where it would give me that error.
What I did this time: drilled into cockpit kit by clicking this link http://jetboatpilot.com/index.php?id_product=247&controller=product, then selected Style (D. Two Color/ Brushed w/Border Surface), then selected Color (Storm Gray over Black), then selected Add Swim Platform (Yes), then selected Add to Cart -- and it worked.

Also, note I almost certainly will buy a full set, but not for another couple of months (get through taxes first, etc)...I was just trying to price it out.

Thanks for the quick response.

Ok good deal! I hope it was not too confusing. We have been working hard on trying to make the website easy to navigate while giving you lots of options to choose from.

It is was not highly intuitive to me that I should click on the black text "SeaDek Cockpit Kit for 2007-2009 Yamaha 230/232" to get to the color/style selection choices. So, I checked the clickbox and hit "add to cart" button. Then, the shopping cart appears to have link back to the color/style customization...

Maybe tweak the graphic design a bit to get user to click the black text, or route to the color/style selection page as the next step after pressing the button (you know, benchmark the "step 1...step 2...step 3...to shopping cart...checkout" approach)

Anyway, I also have a couple other questions:

I have a blue 2008 SX-230 with gray/white interior... Storm Gray over Black looks like the only real color choice to me... Do you have any other color combos (now or in the pipeline) that would work?
Also, how does the small & long piece on the starboard side of the fuel tank mat (aft of pilot's chair) look with border? Do you have any pix of one?

PS: I really do like the new offerings (beyond the "teak" style) - this brought me off the fence on SeaDek

Jesus Christ this place is EXPENSIVE! Everytime I think my mod list is almost complete - I click on this damn website and see something else I want.

Will - great job!

I will try to get my web guy to work on that. Thanks for the input.

Hey @JetBoatPilot , I just got around to the install from the group buy last fall. . . . Do you have anything for the gaps on each side of mat#15?

@JetBoatPilot I am getting ready to pick up a 2015 212X this week. I see that Yamaha has now included the Faux teak on the swim deck. Do you have a kit that matches for the bow step area as well as the transom wlakthrough? I want to keep the snap in carpet for now but would like to replace the pieces under the front bow cushions and the section under the pass bench seat since these will be more shoe storage areas than anything else. Let me know what parts I need to order.
