Today my wife and I traded our Sea-Doo in for a new 2015 AR240 in Suede Gray. I have spent the last few weeks digging up info to help with our decision. We were considering the new Chaparral Vortex boats and the Yamaha boats. We took it out with our dealer before we bought it today. Absolutely amazing day for February. 60 degrees and not a trace of wind. Anyway, Pictures!

My wife all bundled up.

Just a bit of size difference

It barely fits in the driveway.

That's awesome! Congrats on the upgrade.

@PolarXJ Congratulations on the new boat....looks awesome....but I don't think its going to fit in that garage!

Congrats. That is very nice that you were able to test drive it, buy it and take it home on the same day in the middle of winter no less.

glad to have you on board! it looks great, with that drive way you better have some good wheel chocks,

Congrats! But I don't think it is going to fit in your garage.

Congrats! She is beautiful

Thank you all! We couldn't be happier!

@Julian My Seadoo barely fit in the garage. I don't like it sitting outside so eventually we will make a spot for it on the side of the garage with an overhang.

@Scottintexas she has chocks under the two front wheels, and a couple 4x4s in front of the rear wheels. That part of the driveway don't have much slope to it.

@Ronnie Our dealer insisted we take it for a test drive. It was an unbelievable day today considering it's still early February.

@PolarXJ !!!!!!!!!!!!! KILLER boat. Great choice. Magnificent color choice !
'Jes thinkin' <LOL !> ...... Betcha it won't fit in the garage !
Have a GREAT boating year !!!!!!!!!
Best Wishes, Mikey Lulejian - Lake Oconee, GA

Real nice boat and you have a lot of company with those 24's. It seems like everyone is buying them this month.

Nice boat! Congrats! We just bought the same boat just haven't decided on a color. Everyone in the family wants something different. I like the grey. daughters say orange is a no no, wife wants black. We wont decide until we go to the dealer and sign the finance papers and see them all in person. My biggest concern is we didn't test drive and were coming from a I/O but from what everyone here says I'm sure we will love it!

Thanks again all. Now it's time to start adding some things to the boat. I'm planning on installing a fixed mount VHF radio. Where are people with the 2015 240 series mounting their antennas? I would like to mount it in the side of my tower, does anyone know where to get a mount that will fit the 2015 tower tube size?

Eventually I will upgrade the stereo, but not in a hurry to do that.

Congrats, you will definitely enjoy the larger boat with the family. Don't worry about upgrades because we will all help you spend your money, :winkingthumbsup"

Awesome boat and sounds like you have a great dealer. Congrats!
