This is a video a friend made of party cove last weekend. Not a bad turnout with the weather forecast. You'll see why I'll never own a white hull boat again.

awesome video. I assume that was Saturday as that was the pick day of the weekend. We didn't stop in the cove this weekend as we avoided the crowds and anchored off elsewhere.

The video was taken Friday and Saturday. The biggest day was Saturday. We usually spend about 50% of our time in the cove and the rest looking for a quiet spot. We like going to the cove after dark.

Nice!

Hey Jordan Lake guys, at what ramp should I put in tomorrow if I'm coming down 64 from Raleigh. I have a season pass for the area lakes so money is no object!!!!! I'm not looking for a crowded ramp full of yahoos like Upper Barton Creek at Falls.

I always go to Crosswinds, but @waterboy keeps telling me about a better one.

I would use New Hope off Pea Ridge RD. It's usually much less crowded than the others. Or if you want a ramp to yourself go to the crosswinds camp ground and tell them you are camping with me.

Agree New Hope is the best ramp on the lake, and until last year it was always empty. For anyone who is not familiar with the ramp the buoys out in the middle of the cove is making a paved road that goes all the way across the lake. Stay between the buoys and land.
