Group of us are heading down to Jupiter from Orlando this weekend. We are going to be in @ClemsonTiger 's backyard. Hoping to get some sandbar hopping, fishing, cruising, and fun in before the kids go back to school on Monday. I've never been but have seen video and pics and it looks amazing down there.

Probably top 4 sandbars locally
  • Peanut Island sandbar near Palm Beach Inlet (has float snack bar and pizza delivery via boat)
  • Jupiter/Tequesta sandbar just north of the lighthouse near Jupiter Inlet
  • Loxahatchee sandbar west of the Jupiter Lighthouse.
  • Stuart sandbar near St. Lucie Inlet (has floating snack bar)

If you want fishing info let me know where, what type of fish targeted and type of fishing your going to be doing (trolling, bottom fishing etc.)

Maybe some red snapper. Our boats aren't set up for fishing as nicely as yours LOL. We have a few rods (and being a Caribbean islands raised guy I have 4 hand lines) between us so mostly casting and bottom fishing.

Thanks for the heads up. My wife is going to enjoy the restaurants. What is the best one for seafood?

Well that depends on your budget lol. I'll give my 2 cents on each. All of them are seafood restaurants and/or have seafood.
(Best seafood is Sailfish Marina & U-Tiki) (Must do's while your here is U-Tiki & Guanabanas, just don't eat at Guanabanas lol)

Another spot you will want to check out is Square Grouper. Very close to U-Tiki, on the water but no docks. Local spot, used to be owned by Allen Jackson, same bar 5 o'clock somewhere music video was shot at with Jimmy Buffet & Allen Jackson. https://squaregrouper.net/

Hey, as an update we had a great weekend down there. Went out fishing on Saturday morning at the locations you provided. Unfortunately we only caught a remora but we had fun doing it nonetheless. Thanks for the info.
