With a new season of boating sloooooowly coming up (For those of us north of the mason dixon line), I thought, what a better way to make everyones life more enjoyable by providing a PSA on capturing all the moments on your phones that we all want you to share with the world. Please help those afflicted with V V S...

Not ideal, but it's a semi-solution to deal with folks that don't realize how much they're giving up by not rotating their phone when taking video. Phone manufacturers should disable the video capability until the phone is rotated too, seems like they'd be able to determine this with the internal gyro like with other apps, but they must hate better video. First manufacturer to do something like this would get raves about the "better video" their phones take

It's true, I tell my family, relatives and friends to stop taking videos vertically, you can't see anything and you'll look worse if you post on some social media platform.

Even better are the yahoos who rotate their phone while shooting the video only to realize afterwards that the recording will not rotate like their preview windows does. Oy vay!

Us old guys have to remind ourselves of how much video is viewed on cell phones these days as well. I actually edited my first video for mobile viewing this past fall. My post production was all in that resolution. I felt very old.

Put me squarely in the second group...."Those that don't give a crap"......I don't take many videos, but when I do, they're often vertical......I'm also going to label this a victimless crime...:D :D :D

My wife as well. So I ran with it, edited it, added music and posted it to my YouTube channel and she shared it. Sillyness is the sickness. VVS
