Hi! We just bought our first Yamaha jet boat, a 2015 Yamaha AR190. It is going to be primarily used in Watts Bar Lake in TN. We have already had it out, and it drives like a dream!

We owe a lot to this forum for convincing us that it was the right boat for us. I am an engineer and already have several mods planned for this boat, so expect some posts in the future!

Enjoy some pics!

Awesome! Welcome to the form :Welcome:!!! As you know this is a great place to be. Get ready to spend some(more) money. Mods will make it truly yours.

Congratulations and welcome! Nice looking boat, definitely share any mods and don't be afraid to ask questions, tons of knowledge and good people on this forum.

Here are some of my planned mods over the next couple of years in no particular order.
Add the MOB+
Add a bilge alarm with blower control
Add the valve for towing
Fix the bimini (seams are sorta ripped, very moldy)
Add an inverter
Add lateral thrusters
Move stern light from the long pole, to the top of the ski tower
Add some LED Mood lighting
Change the radio to add Sirus XM and remotes at the helm and stern
Install more 12V outlets
Install door to helm compartment
Add wake/knee board racks
Add 2 speakers on tower

Aloha and congrats, welcome to the Gang.??

My advise...Think with safety first followed by item that will make your life easier and finally things that will make you happy.

And, you should an extra battery along with an anchor that holds (one for the front and one for the back). The slip ring anchors are junk.

Congrats! Welcome to the gang!

:Welcome:

Nice boat sir! Welcome to the family!

Grandparents had a place on Watts Bar over near Arrowhead Resort when I was younger. Love that lake.

Edit: Resort not Estates

We are literally right next to Arrowhead, in Apollo Shores. Great place!
Small world! Their place was on Windsor Ct I believe. Was a two bedroom brown house, an addition was added onto it and now has two car garage.

Welcome aboard Sir! Looks great. Can't wait to see how the MODs come along!

Very small world indeed. Same exact street (ours is the first house on the left). My grandfather probably helped build the house, as with many of the houses on that street. We have a 2 bedroom house with an added porch and a spacious (although now occupied with a boat) carport.

Congratulations. Enjoy getting to know your new girl. They all love their new jewelry “mods”.
Stay safe and have fun.
