I just install a thrust Vector XV on my new 2015 SX192. I believe I read there is a 14" draft on this boat does anyone know how much more this added ? When backing up to land what is the minimum depth of water should I worry about ?

You can run a straight edge off the back of the bottom of the boat and however much further the TVs stick down is how much more draft you have.

Keep in mind the spring design (I like this better than the rudder that hangs below the haul on the new 19's). If it bottoms out it will lift up.

As @SCP1 said it will lift up especially moving forward. But when backing up to land I usually jump out and walk it up if possible. If you are backing up slowly I don't think it would damage it.

Be very careful backing into beach areas with fins on. They spring up when they encounter an obstacle from the front to back, not the other way around. Its an easy way to crack the cast aluminum steering nozzle. Jetset407 has the right idea about walking it in.

Thanks for the reply's, I'll run with the walk it in when needed
