Hour meter the previous owner added to my 2009 AR230 just passed 500 hours today, boat still starts on the first turn of the key and runs amazing. When it was in for oil changes last winter the shop checked the compression and all cylinders were basically close to new specs still. Yamaha builds an amazing engine. Nothing but basic annual maintenance and spark plugs every other year on the engines for the 6 years I have owned it. Done some other maintenance like bearings on the pumps and such but the engines have been worry free.
