Hey all,

I received an email from Amazon yesterday about a recall on the K&N 204 Filters used on the Yamaha Engines. Here's the email I received from Amazon on this, so if you're running these filters, check your dates as apparently some are cracking around the nut at the top of the filter.

Please review the following notification and check the manufacturing date code imprinted on the end of your oil filter(s):
https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2017/RCMN-17E044-1798.pdf

If your filter(s) were manufactured within the specified date range, please contact K&N immediately at (800)643-6320 or email K&N at recallkn204@knfilters.com to obtain replacements at no charge.

Further information can be found on the following link:
https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls?nhtsaId=17E044000

If you made this purchase for someone else, please notify the recipient immediately and provide them with the information concerning these issues.

We regret any inconvenience this may cause, but trust you will understand that the safety and satisfaction of our customers is our highest priority.
