Kawa Ultra250X swap motor?

Some good knowledge on this board, maybe one of you has some thoughts.

Someone is selling a Kawasaki Ultra250X with no motor. Ski is in good shape, and they want about what the trailer is worth. Doing some googling it seems like a replacement motor is pretty much out of the question. However, could you swap a 15f motor in if you were OK with a lower performance ski? Would it need anything other than, I assume, the ECU?

Like I need another project.

had a 250x motor went bad warranty paid 7500 out of a $8400 no aftermarket part are available for this motors all oem, stay away you wont find motors for sale unlees they are messed up
