Now may not be the best time to check but I've seen a lot of used wakeboards on Craigslist and even got one for my son for at least half off the cost of a new one. Age isn't really a factor when it comes to wakeboard size but weight and to some extent height do play a role. Consider researching how to properly size a wakeboard to a rider or set of riders before actually shopping. Getting the right size bindings or some that can easily be adjusted to different rider's shoe sizes is really important as well.
Are both kids "goofy" or "regular footed"? It can be a pain switching from one direction to the other. Something that I look for with used wake boards is easily adjustable/rotatable bindings. Much easier to adjust than the ones where you have to remove screw and reposition the entire boot/binding.
