Considering a trip the week of May 18th and was curious what can one expect weather wise that time of year? I'm reading the water is a little littered with debris but is it problematic? Thanks!

Go!
it will be much better by then. Sounds lije they are doing a great job cleaning up.

It was in pretty decent shape on the 8th. Still some floaters around to watch out for but the water was warm enough to get in and swim!

Were booked for June 4th. Renting a cabin near Conley bottom. Looking forward to exploring that area..thanks!!

Right now they are calling for thunderstorms this weekend, but that will probably change one way or the other. We were out last weekend and the water was pretty clear with the occasional large tree, or patch of small debris/trash (plastic bottles, wood chips, etc). Water was warm enough to swim back in the coves we stopped in. Right now we are planning on being back out there Friday and Sat.

We are going to be there over Memorial day weekend. I'm hoping for blue skies and warm(ish) waters.
