Great video, looks like a gorgeous place. That house yours or was it a rental?

Rental- VRBO

The quality would only let me go 720p again... I recorded everything in 4K, not sure why... is it the photos I’m putting in that is limiting me?

Check your timeline settings in whatever video software you use. Sometimes when you dump a picture in, it'll reset to whatever the lowest resolution file is (if you cropped an image, can cut resolution a lot).

Can you share the VRBO link?

We have a lot of info on lake George if your planning on doing a vaca there... well have to meet up next season on the river when you get your boat back

Cool, thanks! Definitely need to meet up, we slip right at Dredge.

figured it out, was pulling the videos from a shared iCloud folder which wasn't the original drone footage, rookie... fixed will be updating

Absolutely beautiful! Loved the video.

UPDADTED ABOVE: Uploaded as 4k, but highest option in youtube is 1080p I guess. Thanks guys

Lake George is definitely the best in the fall. Much calmer than in the spring or summer and much clearer due to the reduction in traffic. Its too bad that they start pulling the island docks right after Labor Day. After Columbus Day the lake reverts back into a wilderness zone.

Great video, what did you shoot it with? Follow mode over water is not something I've been brave enough to try yet!

Mavic air, it has active track... it does okay following, wouldn’t say it’s great... took a little bit of practice to setup and launch from the water, but now that it’s a bit older I’m okay risking it lol, worse case it’ll give me an excuse to the wife to upgrade.

I should post the video where it came in hot off of active track and almost crashed into my tower...

@D3nN1s great footage. What editing program did you use?

@Julian - it's not that bad with the DJI models. I've done it a few times now and I like running my MPP in active track. If you go too fast it loses you but keep the speed to less than 25 and you should be OK. As D3nN1s said the hardest part is the retrieval. Launching is pretty easy even with the Mavic models.

iMovie on my iMac, pretty simple once I found out that I have to put the 4K footage in first to make sure the format stays that way and doesn’t drop to 720p, it’s pretty good, can’t see spending 299.00 on some good software when this is about the extent of the videos I’ll be making

Great video! Place is beautiful!

Awesome video.
Good memories of spending a week there this past Summer!
