We were planning on taking the kids out to checkout the nice boats and cool costumes...but we will surely be staying out of their way especially in the big water.
On the weekends of the poker runs here on Lake Cumberland, you couldn't pay me to be on the water. Last one here a guy died in a large cat running 100+.
I have never, nor do I have any intention of doing a poker run on the water. I have done a couple on motorcycles.. not recommended!!! The idea is cool until you get out there and figure out it's nothing more than a BAR run. Run from one to another, slam some beverages as quick as possible then head to the next. I don't like riding in a pack when no drinking is involved, let alone while drinking is the main focus of the ride.. JMO
We went out to LLI, last night. One of my wife's HS friends came up for the poker run with a group of people and 3 or 4 Large Cats. Absolutely amazing machines, I'll post some pics later this evening...
