We are heading out in a few hours to Lake Powell for a week, Celebrating our 25th Anniversary!!! Will update this thread with pictures of what I consider the most beautiful lake in the world. Excited to tow the boat today with one of our new 2500HD Duramax's.

Note: I need to take the pooling poles out from under the boat cover before we leave, just in case any of you thought I would leave them in while towing Lol.

Lake Powell and Bimini are on my "Boating Bucket List"....have a Happy Anniversary....

Is the tongue a little high on the trailer....does that impact tire wear on the trailer?

Thanks! It's an optical illusion, where the tires are sitting is a dip in the concrete that allows water to drain off the driveway, it's perfectly level on a flat surface. Bimini is also on my bucket list, it's a long drive from Arizona though.

Remember to clean drain and dry! Powell has quagga!

Enjoy, it'll be a great time of the year to go. Lake water is pretty warm right now.

We go to Lake Powell each year, very familiar with those Quagga muscles.

We have arrived, checked into the hotel, have an ok view of Lake Powell from our balcony.

Time for some dinner and drinks. Going to hit the lake bright and early tomorrow morning, planning to do a 120 mile roundtrip up to Reflection Canyon. More pictures will be posted each day so everyone can see the beauty of this lake.

I didn't know you could drive to Bimini. :winkingthumbsup" I may have to try that sometime.

Ah, you're over by that Walmart. Try steamboat, good food there. Otherwise Dam bar and grill. I got pretty sick of Latitude. I hear Stateline has some new stuff to check out - we didn't get a chance to check it out.

Are you on a houseboat (or tent camping) or staying somewhere in Page?

We are staying at the Days Inn, weather this morning did not look great so we ran up to Zion National Park for the day. We like eating at the Dam bar and grill, Fiesta Mexicana, and Big John's Texas BBQ when we are in town . Hopefully the weather is better tomorrow so we can get on the lake!

I hope you got your feet wet and hiked up the creek to the narrows
We hiked it from the top and camped in canyon. It was a great time

Weather looks great today, finally time to get on the lake!

Hey Dan....i didn't know Wal-Mart had rooms!! Lol
Have a great week!! Keep sending pictures!

Ton of pics, will have to post when we get home, here is a great pic in Navajo Canyon. 20160824_150859.jpg

The fact that beach is not crawling with people right now is a big surprise! Looks great :-).

Only three other boats on the entire beach. We bailed shortly after this picture was taken, monsoon got nasty, it was fun to get the boat on the trailer in the wind and waves.

Nice! There is usually a mess of boats there.

There are two lakes that I HATE trailering at. First is Bear Lake. Man that lake SUCKS to trailer on if there is any weather at all. Second is Powell. I really wish they extended the breakwall to be in front of the ramp. It's pretty sucky when the tour boat wash nails the lake toward the end of the day, add weather to that... no fun. How was the ride back to the ramp? We could totally benefit from trim tabs for that lake, instead we use ballast to offset the keel angle while underway.

The Internet and WiFi sucks here in Page,AZ. I will post a lot of great pictures of Lake Powell tomorrow afternoon when we get home. Here is a cove we spent time in this afternoon near Lone Rock Beach. 20160826_130310.jpg
