Yeah...I watch my neighbor across the lake mow his lot with a zero turn with envy! Next time I'll pay the premium for a hydrostatic zero turn.Lol yeah, I don't think my sweeper is gonna pick that up.
Gotta say though, since having a zero turn I won't ever go back!
Lol! Brown, green and yellow are the only colors you'll see here. I do miss the fall colors but not the leaf cleanup.Murf, what color do those change to in the fall?
You need some goats!Think leaves are bad , check out this. Don't know what the hell I was thinking when I planted all these damn fruit treesView attachment 30954
It's like we live in different countries. Here in ncal, at least in the burbs, most homes sit on 1/8 or 1/4 acre lots. Not many trees other than the ones the city owns and maintains, including the single tree that the city forces single family homeowners to keep in their front yards. Riding mowers and fire pits are as rare as snow plows around me. I don't Think I would do well in a leafy environments.
Incidentally, my friend who is also an attorney recently started to pay to have the leaves off of his trees cleaned off of his neighbors property. She is a little old lady that can't/won't do it herself. According to my buddy and consistent with
The neighbor laws I am familiar with, a tree's owner is responsible for any damage its leaves may cause . My buddy is worried that his leaves will clog his neighbors pool pump and cost him some big bucks. He is also concerned that they could block her homes gutters so he has his gardener sweep his neighbors pool and clean out her gutters regularly and only after getting permission from her first. she thinks he is just being a good neighbor as he has her Lawn moved as well but it is mostly just cya. His long term solution is to relandscape his property to get rid of the trees.
